ABOUT

I get a Ph.D. in Environmental Biology at the University of Siena and as a tour leader and a licensed hiking guide I can combine my interest for the environment with my passion for walking outdoors and good company.

I am well-trained to work with children and schools as an environmental educator.

FEDERICA

I live near Sovicille, a historical small village, in the Merse valley, one of the most uncontaminated area between Siena and Grosseto.
Siena is the city where I grew up and I am also a passionate contradaiola(supporter) of the Nicchio contrada (neighborhoods) from the Palio horse race, one of the most famous tradition in the world.

My mother family come from Montisi a little place in the beautiful Crete Senesi and my father is from Montalcino, in the heart of Val d’Orcia. I have heard a lot of stories about my original land and I am a big lover of the beautiful surroundings I was born.
